Your membership supports the preservation of homeschool freedom as we watch legislation that may affect parents’ rights to teach their children at home in Arizona.

What is AFHE?
Arizona Families for Home Education (AFHE) is Arizona’s statewide homeschool organization. Since 1983, AFHE has supported and encouraged families who educate their children at home while working to protect homeschool freedom in Arizona. AFHE provides resources, community connections, events, and legislative advocacy to help families succeed in their homeschooling and home education journey.

Membership connects you to the broader homeschool community in Arizona and supports the ongoing work of protecting homeschool freedom.

How much does AFHE membership cost?
AFHE membership is $35 per year per family.
How long is AFHE membership?
AFHE membership is for one year.
Will my membership automatically renew?
Yes, AFHE membership is set to automatically renew each year. If you prefer to turn off this feature, please log in to your account and on your dashboard choose My Subscription.
Then, toggle the manual renewal or automatic renewal option.

Do you offer refunds?
Membership purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you have a billing question or concern, please email assistant@afhe.org.
How do I cancel my membership?
While membership purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable, you may request your membership be cancelled by sending an email to assistant@afhe.org.
Do I have to be a homeschooler to join?
No. Membership is open to anyone who supports homeschool freedom or wants to learn more about homeschooling in Arizona.
Can ESA families join AFHE?
Yes. Families who educate their children at home with Arizona’s Empowerment Scholarship Account are welcome to join, participate in AFHE events, and benefit from our many resources.
How do I join or renew my membership?
You can join or renew online through the AFHE website. Visit the membership page and follow the instructions to create or update your account.
What if I have questions about billing?
If you have billing questions or concerns, please email assistant@afhe.org.

If you have additional questions, contact us at homeschool@afhe.org.
How do I check my membership status?
Log in to your member profile to find your membership expiration date. Also available on your AFHE Membership card, on the label of your AFHE Magazine, or email homeschool@afhe.org to check the status of your membership.
Is my privacy protected?
Your privacy is important to us! The AFHE membership database is held in confidence. AFHE does not share or sell the contact information of our members.
When will I receive my membership card?
You will receive your membership card in the mail 10-14 days after we receive your application and payment. This will arrive as a 5.5×8.5″ postcard with a pop-out laminated wallet-size ID card.
