Terms of Agreement – All statements must be read and boxes checked in order to be eligible.

I understand that this contest is only open to Arizona residents who are either students currently homeschooled in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes §15-802 (nonpublic instruction provided primarily by the parent or guardian or nonpublic instruction provided in the child’s home) – or – educated at home under an Empowerment Scholarship Account in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes §15-2402 and not enrolled at a public school, microschool, virtual charter, or private school.

I understand that the AFHE Art Contest Committee will make the final selections of finalists and winners in each art category and age group.

I understand that AFHE has the right to use reproductions of entered artwork at its discretion. Full credit will be given to the artist.

I understand that while AFHE will be diligent to care for artwork submitted for judging, AFHE will not be held financially or legally responsible for damage, loss, or theft of the artwork submitted.

If my piece is chosen as a finalist, I understand I must deliver my original artwork to the committee no later than July 16 at 1:00 PM for final judging.

If chosen as a finalist, I understand my artwork will be on display at the 2026 AFHE Convention Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18, and I am responsible for picking up my artwork Saturday afternoon or evening (or having a friend pick up my artwork for me).
