PROJECT INFORMATION

Topic/Title of Project

Project topic will be reviewed by the History Fair Coordinator and approved or denied within three (3) days of submission.

I (the student) understand that the topic is to be drawn from American history, 1600AD-present. War or violence must be depicted in a “G-rated”, family-friendly manner. I further understand that the History Fair Coordinator may require my display to be edited onsite if it includes objectionable content.

Tri-fold project board (max board size 36″h x 48″w plus 10″ header, if desired)

Diorama/model (max table space 24″ x 48″; max height 24″)

Tri-fold project board plus elements on the table surface (must fit within the panels of your tri-fold board)

Terms of Agreement – All statements must be read and boxes checked in order to complete your entry.

I understand that this contest is only open to Arizona residents who are either students currently homeschooled in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes §15-802 (nonpublic instruction provided primarily by the parent or guardian or nonpublic instruction provided in the child’s home) – or – educated at home under an Empowerment Scholarship Account in accordance with Arizona Revised Statutes §15-2402 and not enrolled at a public school, microschool, virtual charter, or private school.

I understand that the judges for the AFHE History Fair will make the final selections of finalists and winners in each age group.

I understand that AFHE has the right to use photographs of student entries at its discretion, solely for the purpose of highlighting homeschool student accomplishments and AFHE’s support of the homeschool community.

I understand that while AFHE will be diligent to care for projects entered in the History Fair, AFHE will not be held financially or legally responsible for damage, loss, or theft of the projects submitted.

If my project is selected as a winner, I understand my project will be on display at the 2026 AFHE Convention Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18, and I am responsible for picking up my project Saturday afternoon after 5:00 PM.
