The Chevalier Noir Academy is a homeschool chess club that has been meeting in the East Valley since 2001. They strive to develop, encourage, support and instruct beginning and intermediate levels of chess players. Fundamental rules, tactics and strategies are stressed along with good sportsmanship. Those interested in competitive play can look forward to an opportunity to progress to the next level, while the recreational player can expect a fun, relaxed atmosphere. |
