Peter Fenger placed 15th at National Chess Tournament

Peter Fenger, a home schooler from Mesa, took 15th place at the National Scholastic Chess Tournament May 12, 13, and 14 held in Denver, Colorado.

Peter is in the fourth grade and played in the K-5 Division which means he had to play the top 5th graders from all over the nation. He played seven grueling rounds with most of his games lasting almost four hours. Peter works very hard and we are very proud of him.
