Arizona support group leaders - Is your group listed on the new web site?

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FORMER ISG LIST?

At the beginning of 2005, we attempted to contact all of the leaders listed on the old AFHE support group list by phone, by e-mail and through a notice in the AFHE Journal.  We were able to reach many of the groups, unfortunately there are a number we have not reached or heard back from.  If we did not reach you, your group is probably not listed on the new AFHE web site.

When contacting the groups on the old list, we discovered there were groups that had disbanded and many groups that did not have current contact information listed.   In addition, we noticed there were other types of groups listed in addition to ISGs.   So, in order to get all of the support group listings up-to-date, and to classify each group by category, we created a Homeschool Group Listing Application and we have built the new list from scratch.

HOW DO WE GET OUR GROUP LISTED?

If you are interested in having your group listed, please complete a Homeschool Group Listing Application for our review.  

Click here to view the AFHE Homeschool Group Definitions.   If your group fits one of these categories based on the definitions we have established and is approved by the review committee, we will list your group on the AFHE web site.
