Discussion topics include updates on current legal issues affecting home education, Common Core, ideas on fostering involvement and building community within your group, and much more!

ABOUT THE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

The AFHE Board of Directors highly values the role of the local homeschool group as a place where families can connect, build relationships, and encourage one another in the homeschool journey. We appreciate and esteem the men and women who lead homeschool support groups across Arizona.

AFHE hosts an annual Leadership Conference for Arizona homeschool support group leaders with the purpose of bringing group leaders together to network, share ideas, and receive updates about issues related to homeschooling in Arizona. Our desire is to equip, refresh, inspire, and show appreciation for leaders who volunteer their time serving and supporting home educating families in their local area throughout the year.

We appreciate the faithful service of homeschool group leaders to support Arizona's homeschool community!

All registrations will be completed online this year. There are two registration forms for you to choose from depending on whether you wish to pay by credit card or by check. Credit cards accepted: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Leaders who are registered for the Leadership Conference have the opportunity to attend AFHE'S Mid-Year Refresher event Friday, January 24, 6:30-9:30 PM at a discount admission price of just $10 per person. (Regularly priced at $18 per person.)

NOTE: The discount admission is only available for those leaders who register for the Leadership Conference. If your spouse is only attending Friday night's Mid-Year Refresher event, he or she will need to register on the Mid-Year Refresher page for the full price of $18.

NAME BADGES

Name badges will be printed from your online registration order form and will be available at the door for pick up when you arrive at the conference.

AFHE highly esteems the work of leaders like yourselves who volunteer your time to serve Arizona homeschool families. The Leadership Conference is an opportunity for AFHE to invest in you as a leader. It is our desire to strengthen and support you, equip you, share information with you, and most importantly express our appreciation for your faithful service. Because of this mission, we only charge a nominal fee to leaders to attend the conference. We spend a significant amount more than this per leader because we value the opportunity to invest in you by hosting this event.

Please help us be good stewards of our resources. If you are unable to attend, please be sure to notify us as soon as possible. Several days prior to the event, we must provide a guarantee number to the Windemere and we must pay for the number of people who have signed up for the event even if some do not show up that day. Thank you for helping us to manage our resources wisely!
