AFHE Thank You Picnic

James and Nancy Manos from the AFHE board had a fantastic time spending time with homeschooling families in Graham County at our first "Thank You Picnic" in celebration of AFHE's 25th Anniversary.

Over 60 adults, teens, and children joined us at Thatcher Park on Hwy 70 including a family from Gilbert who drove out to be part of the fun. We gave away a number of tote bags and water bottles, AFHE mechanical pencils, and also two free admissions to the 2008 AFHE State Homeschool Convention and Curriculum Fair.

We will be planning more picnics in other parts of the state over the next 12-18 months.   Watch for announcements about upcoming picnics in the AFHE Member e-mail updates and also on the AFHE web site Events page. We look forward to visiting with more homeschooling families in other counties in the near future!
